| THE PROCESS |
| The
process usually begins with a phone call, during which we discuss your
requirements and make arrangements to exchange ideas face to face, and
for us to see the rooms where the furniture will go if appropriate. |
| We
take measurements and then spend time working out ideas and designs
that will produce what you want while endeavouring to work within the
constraints of your budget. |
| Any
input from the client is highly valued, we always find solutions more
easily if you are able to bring pictures from magazines, sketches or
photos of the type of style or look you are after. If you already have
architectural or designer drawings prepared, we are usually able to
refine construction issues and quote straight from the drawings. |
For
some projects we create 3D computer models of the design ideas that
facilitate visualisation of what the pieces will look like and how they
will work. Often, several designs are worked through before the final
one is chosen. |
Once
the design is agreed, a full set of CAD drawings is produced and passed
to the workshop where one our cabinet makers takes charge of the
project and sees the construction right through from creating cutting
lists to finishing and delivery or installation. |
| If
installation is required we will send a team to the site, always
including the maker who is in charge of that job, and work closely with
any other tradespeople on site to complete fitting with as little
disruption as possible. |
| We
pride ourselves with the quality of our work and want you to be happy
at all stages of our involvement, from the design stage to the day we
leave you alone with your new pride and joy. |
